Outcomes by Institution

Interest in outcomes data for higher education by students, parents, and policy makers is at an all time high. Currently, there are two major data sources for higher education—The College Scorecard and the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The database below provides information on graduation rates, earnings, debt and loan repayment in one location.

Graduation Rate Data

The graduation rate data are from the latest IPEDS graduation rate (GR2019) survey data on total and by-race/ethnicity graduation cohorts. The most recently reported data (GR2019) reflect the graduation rate status for full-time, first-time degree undergraduates in both four year (students who were enrolled in 2013) and two-year institutions (students who were enrolled in 2016). *2-year institutions are not required to report 100% graduation rates by race/ethnicity and gender; significant data are missing.

Debt, Earnings and Loan Repayment Data

The earnings, debt and loan repayment data are from the College Scorecard. Data on cumulative median student debt and earnings are for completers only. Earnings are for 6 years after entry. The most recently reported earnings and loan repayment data (most recent institution data as of January 19, 2021) were used. Median cumulative student debt data reflect a pooled cohort from fiscal years 2018-19. Borrower-based repayment rates data reflect pooled cohorts from academic years 2015-2017
